Small lake house off of marina road by Piedmont Lake, Ohio available for weekly or weekend rental. The cabin is on a quiet gravel road just off of the main road to the marina, and once in the yard it’s as though you are in a world of your own. The cabin has 2 bedrooms(2 twins each), full kitchen, large living area with 2 pull out couches and a futon, and 1 bathroom. The large lot has a pavilion, charcoal grill, and spot for a camp fire. Just a short 1/4 mile drive to the boat ramp, or just cross the street to public hunting land with miles of hiking available. Close enough to clendening, salt fork, and tappan lake to stay here; and trailer your boat to a different lake each day. Piedmont has great fishing, and the marina rents pontoon boats, fishing boats, and kayaks. With a 10hp limit piedmont is enjoyable on a kayak, paddle board or, canoe since you don’t have to worry about large wakes. There is a few who bring out their sail boats, but it isn’t for beginners due to all the coves and turns changing wind directions. The fishing at piedmont is some of the best in the state, and holds the Musky record still. I enjoy cat fishing the most, and the kids love catching bluegill and saugeye. With fishing as good as it is, often you see the bald eagles and osprey doing the same. Please note that this is a fishing/hunting cabin and as such it does have some minor issues. It is by no means a five star resort, so please plan accordingly. The cabin does operate off of a well, so water conservation is often required. There is a well manager system that displays a light if water is getting low, so guests can conserve accordingly. While we do have plans for remodeling in the future, it is currently useable but dated. Read Less

All you need to do is pack a bag and stop for food. The Mobile Home is over 200 feet from the Cottage and there is a tall privacy fence about 25 feet from the Cottage (and the sitting area). The area has abundant wildlife and is very quiet. Local restaurants and a Walmart are a short 10-15 minute drive. The northern part of Coshocton county is also home to a large Amish population, bringing many attractions including furniture stores, restaurants, and other activities. Deer Creek Cabin is located off of Township Road 180, a quiet gravel road that is accessible year round. 4x4 is recommended if snow is forecasted.

Due to sanitary concerns, We do Not allow pets or inside smoking on the property under any circumstances. Tappan Lake Cottage has a private in-ground pool, only shared with one other cottage. Nestled back a 1/8 mile long drive way you are surrounded by 16 acres of woods. A one acre pond for fishing, and canoeing. The end of the driveway is the old beach recreation area 7 acres of completely flat ground for public use parties ect. They also have picnic tables and grills at the waters edge. We are one mile from the public boat launch! Surrounded by 5k acres for public hunting and 2k acres of water.

We are within walking distance of Historic Roscoe Village, a restored 1830's town situated on the Ohio and Erie canals that is known for their many unique shops, restaurants and living tours of costumed interpreters and crafters for that era. Surrounded by many wineries, breweries and a distillery, each with their own unique histories and offerings, are a favorite for both locals and visitors. A favorite for our guests is enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine while relaxing in the gazebo overlooking the waterfall. This Glamping site is perfect for families who like to camp in comfort without the hassle of camping. The Pine Treehouse Glamping Cabin is set up on a hill with a nice deck for relaxing or eating or just taking in a birds-eye view of Dragonfly Lake! This cozy nest lets you enjoy the sounds and views of nature but still have the comfort of home. This is a nature lovers paradise... enjoy watching ducks, geese, blue heron, egrets, hawks, varieties of turtles, large mouth bass, catfish, bluegill, deer and many more animals. There is a grill and fire pit for cooking dinner or roasting smore's, plenty of space inside for relaxing and a camp style bathroom with toilet and sink inside, and a peaceful and private outdoor heated shower. The linens are all provided for you. There is also a BBQ grill with side burner just off the deck that you may use. There is a micro-fridge and Kcup coffee maker. The only thing you need to bring is food and drink! The tent cabin is GREEN! Well it’s really tan colored but it’s green because it runs off solar power. For this reason, we as that you leave all your power tools and space heaters at home. Please remember to turn off lights and other devices that are not in use. During your stay you are welcome to enjoy the lake, we have kayaks, paddle boards and a paddle-boat tied to the floating dock. You are welcome to use them all, weather permitting, just please return them to their proper place and in the same condition you found them in. The cabin is a short 700 ft hike from the parking area. Please note that this hike is up and down a decent grade, so please plan accordingly and take this in consideration if any one in your party has physical limitations. This is off-grid living all powered by solar and mother nature. The linens are all provided for you. You can also expect to find all the necessary kitchen utensils and dishes to prepare a scrumptious meal for your family.
